OUR 55TH SEASON IS HERE!!!!
As we follow the guidance of the State of New Jersey and the city manager of Cape May, we look forward to our 55th season and understand what a difficult spring it has been for everyone. While this is new for all of us, we are navigating these waters together.
The Capri has always strived to provide a family environment with clean sea-side accommodations. We ensure that this is still our goal while abiding by the CDC and the AHLA for all COVID-19 cleaning and disinfecting guidelines for public space as well as guest accommodations. Providing safe clean accommodations has always been our top priority. We here at the Capri promise to keep the safety of our guests and staff in focus at all times while maintaining the "PERFECT LOCATION FOR YOUR VACATION ".
We promise to :
-maintain aggressive cleaning protocols throughout our property by cleaning and sanitizing
-administer health assessments to all staff prior to their shift starting
-provide readily available hand sanitizer and wiping stations
-use masks and personal protective equipment, where and when practical to do so
-train all our employees on necessary measures that ensure the safety of our guests and staff
-be here for you. If you need anything at all, we're here to assist in making your stay the best it can be
WE ARE ALL IN THIS TOGETHER, WE ASK THAT IN RECIPROCATION YOU MAKE A PROMISE TO US; THAT YOU WILL FOLLOW OUR GUIDANCE AND GENERAL KNOWLEDGE WHILE ENJOYING OUR FACILITY SO WE CAN ALL BE HEALTHY AND HAPPY TOGETHER.
We ask that you promise to:
-practice good hygiene
-please wear your mask when indoors (office, coin operated laundry room, elevator)
-be conscientious of those around you, follow social distancing guidelines and respect the other guests
-be patient through this journey, don't lose sight of whats most important, ENJOY your time at the Capri
-if you have been experiencing symptoms of COVID-19 or have been recently exposed, we ask that you postpone your trip: we'll be here when you're healthy and ready for the beach
Upon check in one person from your party will be allowed to enter the office to register your family/party.
Check in is 3 pm . Sorry, due to COVID-19 restrictions and sanitation, early check-ins are not available. We will require this time to clean and sanitize the rooms for the next guests. When your room is ready for you to occupy, you will be contacted via text/phone call and the keys can be picked up in the office. We appreciate your patience while we navigate through this.
Please keep in mind, although your room may not be available when you arrive we do have the beach service of chairs and umbrella for use on Queen Street Beach and our restroom and shower room on the ground level of our property.
When you are ready to check out on your departure day we ask that you adhere to our check out time of 11 am . We ask that you call down to the office when checking out if you plan on leaving the key in the room. This way it will alert one our our office staff to come pick up the keys from your room so they can be property sanitized for the next guests. If you prefer to stop in the office to drop off keys please keep in mind only one person in the office at a time with a mask being required. Keep in mind our staff will be working very diligently to thoroughly clean and disinfect your vacated room for the next guest arriving, therefore;
11 am check out will be strictly enforced. Again, we ask for your consideration and patience during these unprecedented times.
In Room Experience :
Rooms will be certified clean and sealed by our Housekeeping staff. There will be no daily in-room housekeeping. For essential services and maintenance issues, please contact the front desk to schedule a convenient time for servicing. You will have an option of exchange of room amenities, linens, and sundries that are typically provided in rooms.
(Many optional items, including extra pillows, decorative pillows, ceramic coffee mugs, etc...will be removed from guest rooms to reduce the risk of contamination.)
Our pool is now open with limited seating. Our staff at the Capri has always maintained the chemistry of the water and will continue to do so. Daily water testing every two hours will continue as normal, providing safe swimming conditions. We ask that all our guest social distance while enjoying the pool. Due to COVID-19, no reserving of table or lounge chairs is permitted. We ask when guests are finished using the pool and pool area you please take all your belongings with you so other guests may enjoy the pool area. We thank you for your cooperation. Bear with us as we finalize capacity modifications if that deems necessary.
As always, the staff and management of the Capri are all here to assist you. Don't be shy, if you need anything, or have any questions along the way, don't hesitate to ask! While here in Cape May, we want you to relax, breathe in the salt air, listen to the crashing waves while strolling along the promenade and enjoy the sunsets Cape May has to offer.
